You can save the scan result as a .DAT file, which can be used later to resume recovery. For example, you save a DAT file of a scanning process, and later, when you want to resume recovery, you can use the saved DAT file to restart the process.

  1. Run Stellar Photo Recovery.
  2. From the side panel, under Data Recovery, select Resume Recovery option.
  3. A Resume Recovery window appears with a list of saved scan information file existing in the system.
  4. Select your desired saved scan file you wish to resume by clicking on it.

  1. Click Resume button. A screen appears that display the scanning process.

  1. Once the scanning process completes, details of the files and folder found would be displayed in a dialog box.
