Key Updates:

  • User Interface Upgrade: The entire UI has been revamped for a more user-friendly and dynamic experience.

  • 64-bit Elec-Key Integration: The 64-bit Elec-Key EXE and DLL files are now bundled with the installer. The software no longer downloads the Elec-Key separately.
  • Update Behavior Change: Applications activated using the legacy activation server will no longer check for updates tied to the new server infrastructure.

What's New:

  • Software will launch as per DPI settings in windows. 
  • Software will autodetect DPI and resize the geometry within available geometry of Desktop so that it will properly visible in any DPI (100,125,150,200,250,300,350 etc.)
  • Software is compatible & properly visible of 4K resolution supported laptop/display and all other computer model with windows recommended DPI (150%, 200% etc.)

Updated Terminology:

  • In the Scan Result window, Modification Date is now labeled as Date Modified, and Creation Date is now Date Created.
  • In the Left Panel Recovery Options, Raw File Formats is now updated to Add Raw File Formats.
  • In the Select File Type window, the guidance text has been revised from:

Resolved Issues :

  • Eliminated the issue where an empty #Root folder was saved during recovery on NTFS and FAT32 file systems.
  • Hard Disk's Serial Number & Model Number is now showing due to WMIC.exe depreciated in some version of Windows 11.
  • Fixed a bug where selecting files in the preview window during scanning and clicking 'Recover' triggered an "Application Running!" error instead of saving. This now works seamlessly.
  • Corrected inconsistencies in the More Tools user interface and resolved problems with incorrect options appearing during activation or upgrade within the same installation instance.
  • Fixed the issue where the Filter List window would unexpectedly shift to the background the first time it was opened.
  • Improved the full version to check for an internet connection before searching for software updates. If no connection is detected, the update check is skipped to avoid unnecessary prompts.
  • Enhanced the reinstallation process to display a clear notification when reactivating: "Stellar Photo Recovery activated with a previous key. The application has been activated using an existing activation key found on this computer."
  • You can now save the thumbnails of RAW /Photo files in the format "File-T1.jpg" and "File-T2.jpg.
  • A new option has been added to raise support tickets directly from the software.
  • A bug preventing unallocated or lost drives from being displayed has been fixed.
